Lawrence Lynch, the venerable gardener and man-of-all-work whose countenance had been so familiar about town for many years, died at the House of Industry, Sunday. Owing to an unfortunate family difficulty he had not resided at his home for some time previous to his decease. On his person was found after his death a certificate of deposit from the bank of D. Power & Sons for $150. His funeral took place from St. Augustine’s church Wednesday morning. Interment in St. John’s cemetery.
