An “ L.” Road.

A movement was Monday set on foot working to the construction of an elevated road between Troy and Lansingburgh. The road is to be surveyed through the alley between John and Congress streets [Fourth Avenue and Third Avenue] in the the ’Burgh, and several gentlemen deep in railroad schemes are said to have interested themselves in the project.

It is alleged that a company is being formed at Troy for the erection of an elevated railroad between that city and Lansingburgh.
