Long Hill terminated at 114th Street (formerly North Street), seemingly making it that hill down which Gurley Avenue travels.


—Coasting down the “Long” and “Slaughter House” hills has become great pastime for the boys. On Wednesday evening a boy whose name we could not learn ran into the abutment of the bridge over the “Long” hill and injured his side quite severely.
