The death of George Alber, who for many years conducted a baking establishment in Lansingburgh, occurred ysterday at the residence of Daniel Grenier, 421 Eighth Avenue. Mr. Alber had been employed as a baker at the County House in Albany. He was a former member of Phoenix Lodge of Masons, and was a member of the English Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. He is survived by his wife, formerly Mary Peterson; two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Robinson and Mrs. James Dixon, and three sons, George P., Arthur and Harold E. Alber. The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence, Rev. Dorr E. Fritts, pastor of the English Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
