William Powers (1765-1834) was the father of William Power (1790-1829) the floor and oilcloth manufacturer in the Village of Lansingburgh.

To be Sold or Let,

A LARGE and convenient Tan-Yard, Bark House, Currying Shop and Beam House, a large quantity of good bark; also a good dwelling house near the works; the above is well watered, having a run of water thro’ the yard, and a never failing well. Likewise, a large and good stock of Soal and Upper Leather, to be disposed of, to country merchants and others at the customary prices. Terms of payment will be made easy, apply to the subscriber on the premises.
